Privacy policy.

Who we are

Made By Philament™ is a small, family-run 3D printing business in Vaughan, Ontario. This policy explains what we do with the information you send us. Questions? Email madebyphilament@gmail.com.

What we collect

We only collect what you choose to send us through the quote form or by email or Instagram message:

• Your name and email address
• What you'd like printed, how many, and your colours
• Order details you include, such as a team roster with player names and numbers
• Photos or links you choose to send us with your idea
• Whether you'd like to pick up in Vaughan

When you visit, Google Analytics also collects basic, non-identifying information about how the site is used, like which pages are viewed, roughly where visitors are (city level), what device they use, and whether someone sends a quote or taps an Instagram link. It uses cookies to do this. It doesn't give us your name or contact details, and we don't use it for advertising. You can opt out with Google's opt-out browser add-on.

How we use it

• To reply with a quote and answer your questions
• To design, print and deliver your order
• To keep basic records of orders and payments, as required for tax purposes

We don't sell, rent or trade your information, and we won't add you to a mailing list unless you ask.

Kids' names and team rosters

Team rosters often include children's names and numbers. We use them only to make your order. We never post kids' names publicly, and we don't share rosters with anyone. Photos of finished work that we share online never show a child's name. If you'd prefer we not share a photo of your order at all, just tell us.

Where it's stored

Quote requests are stored in a private Google Sheet and sent to our Gmail inbox, and any photos you upload are saved in a private Google Drive folder, all on our own Google account. Google may store this data on servers outside Canada. Website usage data from Google Analytics is processed by Google and may also be stored outside Canada. This website is hosted on GitHub Pages, which may keep standard server logs (such as IP addresses) for security. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. To keep spam bots out, our quote form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which looks at basic browser signals to tell people from bots. It doesn't use advertising cookies.

How long we keep it

We keep quote requests and order details only as long as we need them to complete your order, handle any follow-up, and meet our record-keeping obligations. After that, we delete them.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time. Email madebyphilament@gmail.com and we'll take care of it. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
